Family Paddle & Overnight on the Charles
The Trustees of Reservations is hosting this exploration of Rocky Narrows in Sherborn, Medfield’s South End Pond, and the Charles River. On September 18-19, visitors can paddle down the river, enjoy an evening dinner, hike to watch the sunset at King Phillips Overlook, and then camp out at Rocky Narrows. Cost for members is $45 for adults, $25 for children. Cost for non-members is $55 for adults and $35 for children. Preregistration is required. Charles River Canoe tours
The Trustees is also hosting Charles River Canoe tours on Saturdays and Sundays through October from 9am-1pm and 2-3:30pm. On these family-friendly guided tours, paddlers will explore the Charles River and adjacent Trustee properties. This peaceful journey gives visitors a glimpse into scenic, secluded wood and marshlands. Canoes, paddles, and life jackets are provided for the tour. Member prices: $30/adult, $15/children for the four-hour tour. $10/adult, $5 children for the 1.5-hour tour.
