One of the things I love about living in Sherborn is walking out my door and exploring new trails. The Bay Circuit Walk is one I’m looking forward to visiting. First proposed as an outer “emerald necklace,” linking parks, open spaces, and waterways, the Bay Circuit is a permanent recreation trail and greenway corridor extending through 21 towns in Eastern Massachusetts.

On Saturday, October 16 and October 23, you can join the Open Space Committee and the Forest and Trail Association on a five-mile hike through Sherborn’s Bay Circuit Trail. This guided tour will highlight the area’s geology and history, birds, native wildlife and plants. Walkers will leave the Pine Hill School parking lot at 9am. Cars will be on hand to return walkers to the school at around noon.

Do you have a trail you like in the Sherborn area? I’d love to hear about it!
