Living in Wellesley has many perks, including the ability to stroll the peaceful grounds of Wellesley College. This week, Forbes Magazine named the Wellesley College campus one of the most beautiful campuses in the world. Judges spoke of “the key role the natural landscape plays in the character of the campus.”

The paths around Lake Waban are some of my favorite in the area. Meandering paths take visitors through open meadows, historic buildings, a private lake, a conifer grove, plus an astonishing botanical garden and arboretum house with more than 1,000 plant species.

If you’re moving to the Wellesley area, or just here for a visit, you might like to take an hour or so to relax and explore this special place.
