Luxury Home Sales Across Boston Suburbs

The luxury real estate market in the Boston suburbs is faring pretty well this winter. Since December, 234 single family homes have sold in excess of $1M, with an average sale price of $1,666,918. 227 single family homes sold during the same time last winter at an average sale price of $1,538,298. The average days on the market has increased from 187 days to 214 days.

This historic waterfront home in Southborough, MA sold in December for $1,050,000.

Boston MetroWest Real Estate: How are Home Sales Faring this Winter?

After encountering several bidding wars this winter, I wondered, are home sales up in the MetroWest this winter? In fact, the volume of sales is down slightly over last year.  To date, 187 single family homes have sold across Boston's MetroWest suburbs this winter compared to 195 homes sold last year.
