Best Boston suburbs: Sudbury
Along with Hopkinton, MA, Sudbury was named to Boston Magazine's 2011 list of Best Places to Live. Today I'd like to highlight why I believe Sudbury was among the publication's top picks.
Highly regarded public school system. The Lincoln-Sudbury public school system consistently ranks high for academic performance, teacher quality, parental involvement, and more.
Tons of recreational activities. From the Atkinson Pool to the town's many sports programs, there's no shortage of indoor and outdoor activities in Sudbury.
Cherishing green spaces. Sudbury participates in the Community Preservation Act and has invested in preserving and maintaining beautiful scenic trails for hiking and cross-country skiing.
Historic charm. Sudbury's winding country roads and historic homes offer a distinctive New England character.
Oodles of shops and restaurants. Sudbury has grown quite a bit in recent years. Today, the town offers a plethora of boutiques plus two grocery stores and an array of restaurants, including a fantastic new Indian restaurant we adore!
